A utility pole was struck during the one-vehicle crash that took place early afternoon on Wednesday, Sept. 25, said Westport Police Lt. Anthony Prezioso.
The operator received a minor injury, he said.
The road will remain closed until Eversource can assess the damage and make repairs. No power outages have been reported.
An advisory message will be issued when the roadway reopens, Prezioso said.
The north and south driveways to the school are accessible.
